This series aims to publish free, tri-fold brochures featuring essays, how-to’s, deep dives, interviews, fiction, “101s” on a variety of topics including art, music, movies, poetry, literature, emotions, and culture. Etcetera.

And include these in the email’s body:

The details! Who/what/where and
Why you think your idea is important or simply why you want to write about it.
**This is not currently a paying market. You will receive a copy of your brochure! They will be distributed free of charge across NY.**
*Brochures will be black and white, tri-fold, letter-sized paper, and have 6 sides. Please keep these space constraints in mind when submitting/writing.
Examples of what we are currently looking for (feel free to send anything!):
-Where to start with jazz/avante garde/niche genres of music or film
-Where to start with (surreal) short fiction
-How to start growing a fire-escape/container garden or get involved in a community garden
-How to fight fascism/How to create tangible change in your community/support your neighbors, etc.
-How to build your first synth/circuit bend/mend/construct xyz
-Essays/”101”s on time, food (and its larger interactions), dreams, insects, cultural movements, nature, rhythms, artifacts, personal emotions, connections, materials
-Mini interviews with artists, writers, musicians, wrestlers, ice cream vendors, cobblers, people with niche talents/trades, cool people from everywhere
-Micro-fiction, long poems
